⚡ Flashback!

That Time Russ Made It on National TV

Back in 2006, Russ was living in his apartment on Long Island, NY, waiting for his girlfriend to get ready for a night out. To pass the time, he had Suze Orman on TV — after all, understanding money is key to long-term success!

During the show, an ad flashed inviting viewers to submit questions. On a whim, Russ sent one in without expecting much. To his surprise, a few days later, he received a call from MSNBC. Initially thinking it was a prank, he quickly realized it wasn't — and the next thing he knew, a limo showed up to take them to Manhattan.

During the live national TV segment, Suze Orman and Russ may or may not have playfully pointed out his girlfriend's financial habits. He didn't tell her about the appearance until months later, when the episode aired.

💍
Thankfully, she forgave him — and they went on to get married!
